Kim Hansen
Owner Designer
Kim co-founded Absolute Design Interiors in 1998 which began with an idea to hire a designer who’s approachable and affordable. She is an Omaha native, a Marian High School graduate and studied Interior Design at Metro CC. She believes good design is attainable and can make a world of difference with all types of projects; residential or commercial. She loves a design challenge and brainstorming to come up with out of the box ideas! ADI believes in the very best for all of our clients and strive to inspire every day. “I’ve met so many wonderful people over the years to help and I couldn’t be more grateful for the faith they have in me and the ADI family”.
I’ve learned we’re not promised tomorrow so spending time with family, friends and even just myself is good for the soul. Traveling, learning new things and enjoying my 4 grandkids always inspire me!
Marcia Soe
Co-Owner Designer
Marcia has her Bachelor of Science degree from Bellevue University. She has worked in the design field for 15+ years on new construction, remodels, and commercial projects. She likes taking on challenges to find solutions for interior finishes and works hard to meet the client’s needs. “My passion is creating a place for clients in which they come home and love the space they live in.” She loves going for long walks in the evening with her family and her golden retriever. There is nothing better than coming home to a place where you spend most of your time, whether it’s your kitchen, great room, or bedroom, and love it all!
Fun Fact: Marcia met her husband in the Runza drive-thru on a hot summer night senior year of high school.
Tara Stanek
SENIOR Designer
Tara graduated from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. She has over 8+ years of experience in residential, and commercial design. Creating everything from intimate remodels, to complete custom homes and everything in between. With a vision of creating inspired spaces, Tara thrives off the diversity of every project. Tara has a passion for design and is committed to creating beautiful and functional spaces. When she’s not designing, she’s busy spending time with her husband, stepson, and new baby girl. They enjoy family time and taking their favorite golden retriever on walks around the lake.
Kelsey smith
Designer
Originally from Stanton, Nebraska, Kelsey earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University of Chicago. With years of experience working with a design firm in Frisco, CO, Kelsey brings a wealth of talent, creativity, and expertise to her role on our team. Her keen eye for detail and innovative design approach have made her an invaluable asset, and she is excited to continue elevating the work we do for our clients. Kelsey’s design philosophy is rooted in her passion for creating spaces that are both functional and visually compelling. Whether she’s solving creative design challenges, bringing fresh ideas to life, or crafting impactful visuals, Kelsey thrives on collaboration. Her approach is client-focused, ensuring that each design reflects the unique personality and needs of the people who live in the space. When she's not working, Kelsey is a self-proclaimed foodie, enjoys spending time outdoors, loves painting, and occasionally partakes in the theater. Her diverse interests and creative background continually inform her work as an interior designer, giving her the ability to think outside the box and approach each project with a fresh perspective.
Emily Witt
lead Design Assistant
Emily graduated with a degree in Art Education K-12 at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Teaching allowed her to explore and create not only for herself but for a wide range of students over the years. With backgrounds in 2D & 3D mediums, photography and graphic design Emily has knowledge in a variety of creative outlets. She enjoys taking these past experiences and uses them as a part of the ADI team. Working to assist the designers and help clients achieve the designs of their dreams is a passion. “I am so excited to be a part of a team that curates the most beautiful designs and projects for a wide array of home and commercial projects!” When Emily is not at work she enjoys spending time adventuring with her husband, beautiful daughter and snuggling their senior rescue dog Sally.
kaylie erwin
Design Assistant
Kaylie is currently in her third year studying Interior Design at Iowa State University. She brings experience in many digital programs and a strong dedication to her work. Kaylie enjoys watching different spaces evolve into the clients’ dream. “I am excited to start my Interior Design career at such an amazing firm learning from the best.” She enjoys traveling, going for nightly walks, and spending time with family. Between school and working at ADI, Kaylie is also a part of Iowa State’s Cheer Team.
Cindy Moresette
office Manager
A native to Omaha, Cindy received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She spent the next 19 years at an automotive finance company and the past ten years in various assistant roles at a local church. She loves working behind the scenes, supporting those in leadership to be successful. Seeing the beautiful work the Designers at ADI create is a fun bonus for Cindy in her role as Office Manager! Outside the office, Cindy loves spending time with her two sons and husband, reading, listening to podcasts, and going on walks with her Cavapoo dog, Finley.
